    Prof. Yu-Dong Zhang received the PhD degree in Signal and Information Processing from Southeast University in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with Columbia University, New York, NY, USA. And an Assistant Research Scientist with RFMH, New York, from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2017, he was a Full Professor with Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing. He is currently a Professor with the University of Leicester, Leicester, U.K. His research interests include deep learning and medical image analysis. He is the Fellow of IET, Fellow of EAI, and Senior Members of IEEE, IES, and ACM. He was included in Most Cited Chinese Researchers (Computer Science) by Elsevier from 2014 to 2018. He was the 2019 & 2021 recipient of Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate. He won the Emerald Citation of Excellence 2017 and MDPI Top 10 Most Cited Papers 2015. He is included in Top Scientist in Research.com. He is the author of over 300 peer-reviewed articles, including more than 50 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 5 ESI Hot Papers. His citation reached 18057 in Google Scholar (h-index 75) and 10276 in Web of Science (h-index 58).

    Prof. Jingshan Huang received the PhD degree in University of South Carolina in May 2007, under Dr. Michael N. Huhns. He is currently a Professor with the Biomedical Informatics Group housed in the School of Computing at the University of South Alabama (South). His research areas are Data Science and Computational Life Science in general, in particular, the semantics and analysis of data as well as their innovative applications on human genomics and transcriptomics.

    Professor, University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

    Carlos M. Travieso-González received the M.Sc. degree in 1997 in Telecommunication Engineering at Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain; and Ph.D. degree in 2002 at University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC-Spain). He is a full professor of signal processing and pattern recognition and is head of the Signals and Communications Department at ULPGC, teaching from 2001 on subjects on signal processing and learning theory. His research lines are biometrics, biomedical signals and images, data mining, classification system, signal and image processing, machine learning, and environmental intelligence. He has researched in 52 international and Spanish research projects, some of them as head researcher. He is co-author of 4 books, co- editor of 27 proceedings books, guest editor for 8 JCR- ISI international journals, and up to 24 book chapters. He has over 450 papers published in international journals and conferences (81 of them indexed on JCR– ISI- Web of Science). He has published seven patents in the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office. He has been a supervisor on 8 Ph.D. theses (11 more are under supervision), and 130 master theses. He is the founder of The IEEE IWOBI conference series and the president of its Steering Committee, as well as the founder of both the InnoEducaTIC and APPIS conference series.He is an evaluator of project proposals for the European Union (H2020), Medical Research Council (MRC, UK), Spanish Government (ANECA, Spain), Research National Agency (ANR, France), DAAD (Germany), Argentinian Government, and the Colombian Institutions. He has been a reviewer in different indexed international journals (& lt; 70)and conferences (& lt; 250) since 2001.

    Professor, University of Milan, Italy.

    Prof. Caterina La Porta is professor of General Pathology at the University of Milan where she coordinates the research group Oncolab and is member of the steering committee of the Center for Complexity and Biosystems. In 2018, she co-founded the startup ComplexData where she serves as CEO. During her scientific career, Prof. La Porta published more than 200 papers in international journals mainly on cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, receiving thousands of citations.  In the past 15 years, she shifted her interest to quantitative biology and digital health.  The focus of her current research activity focuses on understanding cancer heterogeneity using tools from cell biology, biophysics and data science.  Her interdisciplinary view of cancer is summarized in a book published by Cambridge University Press in 2017 entitled “The Physics of Cancer”.  Prof. La Porta was selected as one of the 100 most important female scientists in Italy (https://100esperte.it/) and was visiting scientist in many universities around the world, including MIT, Cornell University, Aalto University, Rice University, the ENS Paris, the Weizmann Institute of Science and LMU in Germany.  Prof. La Porta has a long track record of public outreach activities, including the organization of several editions of the EU Researcher’s night, and is involved in many other science dissemination activities.

  • Shweta Gupta

    Dr. Shweta Gupta has worked in Multinational Companies Like Patni Computers, Techmahindra, Reliance Infocomm and is presently an Associate Professor in Woxsen University, India with academic experience of 13 years. Her research lines are BioInformatics, Biomedical Electronics, and Bionics. She has expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with application in Cognitive Diseases.

  • Chinmay Chakraborty

    Assistant Professor, Birla Institute of Technology, India.

    Dr. Chinmay Chakraborty is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Jharkhand, India. His primary areas of research include Wireless Body Area Network, Internet of Medical Things, Energy-Efficient Wireless Communications and Networking, Point-of-Care Diagnosis. Prior to BIT Mesra, he worked at Faculty of Science and Technology, ICFAI University, Tripura, India. He worked as a Research Consultant in Coal India project at Industrial Engineering & Management, IIT Kharagpur, project coordinator in the Indo-US project at IIT Kharagpur, and also worked as a Network Engineer in System Administration at MISPL, India. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication from BIT Mesra, India. He did his Masters in Telecommunication Engineering from G. S. Sanyal School of Telecommunication, IIT Kharagpur, India. He did his B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MAKAUT (formerly, WBUT), India. He has published more than 30 technical papers in various journals, book, book chapter, and conferences. He has also been an Editor for a book published by a reputed international publisher. He is an Editorial Board Member in Journal of Wireless Communication Technology and also a member of International Advisory Board for Malaysia Technical Scientist Congress, and Machine Intelligence Research Labs. He got Outstanding Researcher Award from TESFA, 2016 and also got Young Faculty Award from VIFA 2018.
