The 11th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICBEPS 2026) was successfully held on May 29, 2026. Hosted by the International Association of Applied Science and Technology (IAAST), through diverse forms including keynote speeches and achievement sharing, participants comprehensively presented the latest research progress and innovative achievements in biomedical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences, discussed emerging industry trends, existing challenges and breakthrough solutions, and drew cutting-edge inspiration for the innovative development of the discipline.
In the keynote speeches session, Ata Jahangir Moshayedi, Associate Professor of the DGUT-CNAM, Dongguan University of Technology, China, delivered a keynote speech titled "Respiratory Parameter Estimation Using Pharyngeal Phonetics And Machine Learning: Breaking Free From Spirometry".

Shaharior Rahman Razu, Associate Professor of Khulna University, Bangladesh, presented a keynote speech titled "From Margins to Mainstream: What Public Health Teaches Us About Equity, Access, and System Design".

Carlos M. Travieso-González, Professor of University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, gave a keynote speech titled "Facial image-based affective computing as a non-invasive diagnostic tool in precision medicine".

The conference provided a professional platform for scholars in biomedical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences to present research findings and exchange academic progress. In the future, ICBEPS will keep focusing on cutting-edge research topics in biomedical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences, facilitate the sharing of theoretical breakthroughs and technological innovations among scholars worldwide, further strengthen international scientific research cooperation, promote the transformation of cutting-edge technologies from laboratory research to clinical and industrial application, and jointly advance the sustainable development of global health undertakings.
